Based in South Australia and working with clients across Australia, Extra Mile supports first-home buyers, families, investors, self-employed professionals, and those new to Australia navigating the local lending system. For many of our clients, being able to communicate clearly — sometimes in Spanish as well as English — makes a meaningful difference.

Marisa is the Office Manager at Extra Mile Financial Services, ensuring everything behind the scenes runs smoothly, efficiently, and with care.
Originally from Argentina and bilingual in English and Spanish, Marisa brings more than 20 years of experience supporting executive teams across finance and real estate. She understands that applying for a loan can feel overwhelming and plays a key role in making sure clients feel looked after at every stage of the process.
Having started her career in real estate early on, Marisa has spent decades working closely with clients and finance professionals alike. What continues to motivate her is seeing clients move from uncertainty to confidence — and ultimately, into their new homes.
For Spanish-speaking clients, Marisa offers something especially valuable: clear communication in their own language and an understanding of the cultural nuances that matter when making big financial decisions.
José
Senior Loan Officer

With high digital fluency, Lucas adapts quickly to new systems, software, and automation tools, helping the team work with speed and consistency. He values mentorship, asks thoughtful questions, and is focused on building the foundations of a long-term career in finance.

He specialises in complex lending scenarios, including self-employed borrowers, trusts, companies, SMSFs, and business loans. When applications become layered or difficult to navigate, Sebastian brings structure, clarity, and momentum to the process.
Known for being reliable, approachable, and highly organised, he works closely with brokers and lenders to help complex applications progress with minimal friction. Although he works remotely, he remains closely connected to the team and always accessible.

Juan Pablo Aguiar is the Director and Founder of Extra Mile Financial Services, with over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Originally from Argentina and fully bilingual in English and Spanish, Juan Pablo founded Extra Mile with a clear purpose: to provide honest, personalised advice and to genuinely go the extra mile for every client.
He understands that navigating the Australian lending landscape — especially for migrants and first-home buyers — can be complex. His approach is grounded in listening first, understanding each client’s story, and recommending solutions that align with their real needs and long-term goals.
Based in South Australia and working with clients nationwide, Juan Pablo specialises in residential home loans, commercial and business lending, and asset finance. He believes finance is about people, not just numbers.
